Fallout 4 Somerville Place Quest Bug
Employ those console commands to discover him.NPCs tin wander off sometimes. No idea why. I accept seen it many times with the NPCs at Abernathy Subcontract where at the end fo a work twenty-four hours they start wandering off towards the diner management. This is without evne using any mods.
I've seen the named ones at Abernathy chase Radstags far enough that I couldn't hear their shots anymore. Then they walk, non jog, but walk back to the settlement. They don't even bring back the meat for dinner!
Nope, this aint fifty-fifty that. They hit that stage where they go form working to idling before sleeping phase and they simply turn and outset wandering south. Seen this happen before and afterward recruiting the settlement.
Accept you used the Bell and waited in a chair for everyone to show up? >
Contacts for quests tin end up traveling if y'all send them on a supply run and they tin can be moved to another settlment before you lot finish their quest that tells you to talk to so and so at the wrong settlement location by default.
I dunno almost settlers wandering off, but I do know in that location is a few odd bugs with certain settlements (Abernathy included) where the solution is to just give them a dedicated bed.
At my Abernathy I noticed that come nightfall my settlers, including the Abernathy'south themselves, would stand in the heart of their crops and simply stand their until dawn ("If you build it.. he will come.") and the solution was to fix the sleeping arrangements.
Fallout auto-sorts settlement needs, from nutrient to weapons to beds, only in some settlements this auto-sort affair trips upward as soon as it hits a bump in the road and you accept to correct it. In the example of settlers acting weird the #1 fix is unremarkably to give them a dedicated bed, that way they don't wander off to find 1 or only stand up around similar a turnip at nightfall. Make sure Abernathy has enough beds for everyone so manually allocate anybody a specific bed.

Pretty certain this might exist a glitch with the pre-built beds. I ever scrap the ones that be already, and make new. Never happens on my game anymore.
Same, Mringasa, although some I discover I can't remove. There was a method supposedly before I started playing where you could remove an unmovable bed (or any object) by placing a floor piece nether it and then deleting that to have the offending object with it, it worked on all platforms, Xbox, PS, but they patched it out in one,vii
Yes the settler has done this to me as well. They walked all the manner upwardly the railroad tracks to Oberon Station.Just follow the train tracks. You tin also await upwards the NPC who lives there observe their code an open the command prompt an blazon in
moveto thespian
An the NPCs will be pulled to your model. An continue the conversation.

It is a bug wiht almost every premade beds. I call back the but ones that work are the ones in The Slog, Sunshine Tidings, and Warrwick Farm.
Abernathy ones in the original locations are not considered sheltered. Nevertheless since no bed and unsheltered bed do not stack y'all exercise not see it until they are replaced.

Yep that pissed me off. Fix an "exploit" that was being used to counter their bugs. Then on pinnacle of that make sure you are not allowed to utilise panel commands without the K for a modded salve.
Hmmm. I think Scrap Everything might accept care of this. I should say I have not encountered a bed I couldn't chip. There'southward a couple items that the Unofficial Patch "stock-still" somehow and so information technology doesn't work with them, but console, disable, markfordelete does.
There'south a mod to fix the no achievements for mods. Oh how I LOVE the modding customs. :D
Recollect someone already said it, but ring a bell and your settlers "should" come back. Fifty-fifty if they're glitched under the flooring. Damn NPC idle markers in Sanctuary! I always miss one so I accept some idiot with their head sticking out of my floor hammering away at something.
Oooh, there'southward an idea, I never idea virtually building one of the bell belfry things, I'll keep that idea in mind the adjacent time my greygarden Mr Handy'due south disappear over the horizon chasing butterlfies.

I tin can't do that because I'm not able to utilise the workshop still
I've got 2 developed males at Somerville and can't distinguish between them equally to who the father of the children is (Jeremy Kyle af!) and then I've included the ID's for both.press tilde to open up the console, information technology should be the (¬) key beneath ESC, but depending on your keyboard might exist (@) or (#)...
Type
prid ff010808 then printing render to priotitize that ID as the active ID.
Type moveto histrion and then press return to bring that object/entity to your electric current location.
Printing the panel fundamental again to close panel and then you can then interact with that person. If he is not the guy you need to talk to (or he doesn't exist, he may be a generated settler) then attempt once more with this ID -
001e81d6 - They were, equally I said, the just two adult males at my settlement so this may not work, but I hope information technology does :)PS. Panel commands volition not touch your ability to consummate the game or recieve achievements, there are some commands that can just those are the godmode commands like
GiveMeOoodlesOfCash so don't worry nigh this harming your salvage, it volition either locate the NPC if they be or it won't. Too, if you are playing on survival manner, which I don't think y'all are, then panel is disabled.
I had exactly the same trouble equally the OP had. I cleared out the ghouls at Suffolk Schoolhouse and when I got back the farmer and his two kids had disappeared. I looked on the map and his marker was so far to the w it wouldn't even display on the map.
I fixed the problem by doing equally yous suggested - the farmer'south ID is the 001e81d6 ane. I fetched him dorsum only the children are all the same missing. I was able to end the quest though and now can build at Somerville.
Incidentally on another playthrough ALL my Somerville settlers disappeared and have never come back, and so I'm wondering if its a glitch with that location?
